The Senghenydd Memorial Clock Tower as picture here in 2007, was dedicated in a ceremony on St. David's Day, March 1, 1921. The following pages detail the pages from the event program from that day.

The Senghenydd Roll of Honor pages at the back of the program lists the 62 names, rank, age, regiment, military ID number, home address and date and location where the servicemen died.

The memorial dedication ceremony was preceded by a 3pm procession of nurses, ambulance brigades, the Windsor Colliery Band, ex-servicemen, the Senghenydd Wesleyan Temperance Band and the R.A.O.B. Lodges (Royal Antediluvian Order of Buffaloes).

The ceremony was dedicated "In Loving Memory of the late Fred Williams, Our Faithful Treasurer".

The order of proceedings included an address by the lord Bishop of Llandaff and the Rev. D, Roberts. The ceremony was concluded with a march past by ex-servicemen.

The unveiling ceremony was presided over by P.O. Ward, the General Manager of Merthyr Colliery Company. The music was provided courtesy of the Aber Valley United Choir, the Senghenydd School Choir, Windsor Colliery Silver Band and the Senghenydd Wesleyan Temperance Band. They performed the hymns "St. Ann", "Aberystwyth", "Babel" and "How Sleep the Brave" with locals encouraged to join in the singing.

The back cover shows an undated photograph of the village square, credited to the Western Mail Ltd., taken sometime before the memorial was erected. A tall street light marks the place where the memorial would subsequently be built, which would become the iconic centerpiece of the village.

The opening page of the program states that the Memorial was "Erected by the Senghenydd Memorial Committee through public subscriptions." The unveiling ceremony commenced at 3.30pm.
