The Senghenydd War Memorial Clock Tower

senghenydd square2

The clock tower stands as the physical center of the village, located at the intersection of Commercial Street (left), High Street (right) and Gwern Avenue (which is to the left, out of frame).  The tower was erected to commemorate the fallen heroes of the community who served in the two world wars.
